Welcome to the Human Genome Sciences (HGS) site for medical education grants and charitable contributions. HGS supports organizations involved in improving healthcare learning and patient outcomes by providing support for high quality, independent non-promotional medical and scientific educational programs for healthcare professionals. HGS also supports a broad range of non-profit organizations through charitable contributions. These grants are intended to support patient advocacy and professional medical organizations in their efforts to educate and provide support to patients, their families and caregivers, and support other community outreach activities. Our current disease areas of interest are:
- Immunology and inflammation
- Oncology
Programs related to systemic lupus erythematosus and other diseases with immunologic dysfunction associated with autoantibody formation will be given highest priority.
Requests must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the start date of the program, to ensure adequate time for your request to be reviewed and processed.
